Kevin DeWald

Kevin DeWald has worked for the state public health agency for over 24 years in a variety of roles.  He currently serves as the Executive Director for South Dakota Health Link and has been leading State, Regional, and National efforts of Health IT and Health Information Exchange for nearly 20 years.  Kevin also serves on the South Dakota Health Link Advisory Council, is a member of the Informatics Directors Peer Network for the Association of the State and Territorial Health Officials, serves in an advisory capacity on the Wyoming Frontier Information Exchange Executive Steering Committee, and is a member of the Health Catalyst Client Advisory Board.  He also previously served as the state leader for the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration, task force member on the National Governor’s Association State Alliance for eHealth, and subject matter expert for the State Health Policy Consortium.
