Lance Jahnig
Lance joined South Dakota Health Link in 2011 as an Interface Analyst. Before joining SDHL, Lance worked as a Communications Network Analyst for Dakota State University.
Assistant Director
Lisa Fox
Lisa Fox serves as the Assistant Director with South Dakota Health Link, and organization dedicated to enhancing the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare in South Dakota and surrounding states through secure information sharing. In her role, Lisa leads member engagement efforts, helping participants maximize the benefits of Health Link services. She facilitates the creation of user accounts, provides training, integrates services into clinical workflows, and offers support for tools such as Point of Care Exchange and Event Notifications. Lisa also plays a key role in expanding Health Link’s network by recruiting new members at healthcare conferences throughout the state. She holds a Bachelor of Science in English for Information Systems from Dakota State University.
Executive Director
Kevin DeWald
Kevin DeWald has worked for the state public health agency for over 24 years in a variety of roles. He currently serves as the Executive Director for South Dakota Health Link and has been leading State, Regional, and National efforts of Health IT and Health Information Exchange for nearly 20 years. Kevin also serves on the South Dakota Health Link Advisory Council, is a member of the Informatics Directors Peer Network for the Association of the State and Territorial Health Officials, serves in an advisory capacity on the Wyoming Frontier Information Exchange Executive Steering Committee, and is a member of the Health Catalyst Client Advisory Board. He also previously served as the state leader for the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration, task force member on the National Governor's Association State Alliance for eHealth, and subject matter expert for the State Health Policy Consortium.
