Kevin DeWald – Executive Director
Kevin currently serves as the Executive Director for South Dakota Health Link and has been leading efforts of Health IT and Exchange in the state for 12 years. The mission of South Dakota Health Link is to drive improvement in the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare in South Dakota though information sharing. Kevin also serves on the South Dakota eHealth Advisory Council and as a member of the Informatics Directors Peer Network for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. Kevin also previously served as the state leader for the Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration, task force member on the National Governor’s Association State Alliance for eHealth, and subject matter expert for the State Health Policy Consortium.
Lance Jahnig – HIE Interface Analyst
Lance joined South Dakota Health Link in 2011 as an Interface Analyst. Before joining SDHL, Lance worked as a Communications Network Analyst for Dakota State University.
Mandi Stegenga, MSHIIM – Information Technology Specialist
Mandi Stegenga, MSHIIM currently works as the Information Technology Specialist for South Dakota Health Link. Mandi has been working for SDHL since 2013. Mandi has a bachelor’s in health information administration and a master’s in health informatics and Information Systems. Mandi currently works with end-users providing them with training on the Event Notification and Point of Care services South Dakota Health Link provides. Mandi actively participates on the Quality Improvement Workgroup for the Cardiovascular Collaborative and the Awareness Campaign Workgroup for the Cardiovascular Collaborative.
Lisa Fox – Training Specialist
Lisa Fox is the Training Specialist with South Dakota Health Link. The mission of South Dakota Health Link is to drive improvement in the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare in South Dakota through information sharing. As Training Specialist, Lisa is responsible for creating end user accounts, training end users, incorporating services into workflows and troubleshooting for Point of Care. She also works recruiting new members through various conferences in South Dakota. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in English for Information Systems from Dakota State University.
