SD Health Link Document Modernization

With the ever evolving healthcare landscape, South Dakota Health Link recently updated our Policy and System Operations Manual as well as Participation Agreement.  During this modernization, Health Link addressed the following:

• 21st Century Cures Act
• Information Blocking Rules
• Conditions of Participation mandate from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
• Developing Standards
• Changing Landscape (TEFCA, QHIN, eHealth Exchange, etc.)

So what does this mean to our members?

Health Link will be sending new Participation Agreements via DocuSign beginning about March 1, 2023 and will need to be signed and returned by May 1, 2023 to continue using the tools/services that are offered.
