New Data Source: SD Medicaid Data

South Dakota Health Link is excited to announce a new data source – SD Medicaid.  Medicaid is contributing medication prescription claims and dental claims data. The medication prescription claims data will enhance other robust medication information already available in the Point of Care Exchange.  Providers now have access to a suite of Medication data which includes, the Nationwide Filled Medication query, South Dakota’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, and the SD Medicaid Prescription Claims Data.  The dental claims data will provide the end user any recent dental procedure.

End users can find the medication prescription claims data source by accessing it through the following steps:

• Click Medications on left hand side
• Under the Medication History section, click Medication Fill History tab.

To find the dental claims data, end users will access Face Sheets by the steps below:

• Click Profile & Face Sheets button on top right
• Click Face Sheets tabs
• Click the Face Sheet from SD Medicaid Dental
