VA and DoD Connection now live!

South Dakota Health Link is excited to announce the connection with the joint Veterans Administration (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) hub.

This connection will allow SD Health Link members to retrieve clinical summaries from the VA Health Care System and the DoD (active duty military).  This clinical summary can be accessed within the Health Link Point of Care portal through the External Query functionality.  If you would like more information about how to access this vital information via Health Link please reach out to our team for training or updates. 

 The US Department of Veterans Affairs is a federal agency which was created to provide military veterans and their dependents world-class benefits and services. The VA is the largest integrated health care network in the United States with 1,255 health care facilities serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.
