12th Annual Health Link Fall Forum: Call for Speaker Proposals

As we navigate the ever-changing healthcare landscape the South Dakota Health Link Fall Forum brings together professionals from across the state to share cutting-edge knowledge and strategies that our members are implementing within their organization.

South Dakota Health Link will have limited number of spaces available to members and partner organizations to submit a proposal for inclusion in the Fall Forum agenda. Proposals should showcase how Health Link improves care, outcomes, or processes, or features collaborations among stakeholders. We encourage all Health Link members to submit proposals to showcase their innovative use cases and strategies.

Things to Note

Important Dates:

  • April 7, 2026: Call for speaker proposals open
  • May 19, 2026: Proposals due by 5:00 PM CT
  • June 17, 2026: Notice of acceptance by 5:00 PM CT
  • September 2, 2026: Speaker bios, photos, session title and description, and other required information by 5:00 PM CT
  • October 6, 2026: Accepted presentations uploaded to a designed digital location (to be announced) by 11:59 PM CT
  • October 14, 2026: 13th Annual Health Link Fall Forum

Session Types Available:

  • Education Sessions: A 30-minute session including time for questions and answers.
  • Panel Discussion: A 45-minute session including time for questions and answers. These proposals must identify the discussion facilitator or moderator, and the names of individuals participating on the panel. (Limit 3 speakers)
  • Rapid Fire Sessions: A 15-minute session highlighting Health Link uses cases from your organization.

Proposal Submission Checklist

  • Identify lead presenter.
  • Determine presentation format that best fits your presentation.
  • Compile presentation information.
  • Proposed presentation title: This will be used for conference materials.
  • Presenters: Only three presenters total, including the lead, will be accepted. In addition to name and email, please provide the current title and affiliated organization. All presenters will be listed in conference brochure.
  • Presentation abstract: Limit to 250 words or less.
  • Presentation objectives: Include two measurable objectives.
